SBEF works with families, businesses and community leaders in a supportive and encouraging atmosphere to help youngsters grow intellectually, culturally and morally. SBEF programs focus on developing personal character in small goups or one-on-one settings.

Recognizing the profound dignity of the person, SBEF knows that every child is a gift worthy of the highest efforts and deepest respect. Their motto, ‘Together We Can’, reflects the collaboration of staff, parents and volunteers that has made their programs so successful. Since its inception in 1988, SBEF has helped keep thousands of children in school, and 90% of the children attending SBEF programs go on to attend four-year colleges after graduating from highschool.
