Centro Tepeyac Silver Spring Women's Center (Centro Tepeyac) is a nonprofit agency, serving greater Washington, DC area women and their partners in pregnancy-related crises and offering them a meaningful alternative to abortion. Although the center was founded to provide assistance primarily to Hispanic women and their families, it serves all persons in need.
Since its foundation in 1990, Centro Tepeyac has helped many hundreds of women and their families, and saved many lives --over 500 babies born in the past 20 years. Services include: • Confidential pregnancy testing • Referrals for medical care and social services • Pregnancy counseling and crisis intervention • Ongoing pregnancy support services and mentoring • Material assistance: baby furniture, clothing, diapers, formula, etc. • Adoption referrals and counseling • Parenting information • Teen and young adult mentoring through La Pareja Feliz Program • Teen sexual integrity and leadership education and support • Rachel’s Vineyard Post-abortion Recovery Program All services are free and confidential and available in Spanish and English.
